March 31, Saturday, (Rain Date April 8th) ANNUAL SANTA CRUZ BRITISH MOTORCAR CLUB MEETING, Fresh Choice in Morgan Hill. 9AM start Chevron at Highway 1 and Riverside Drive #129 at Watsonville exit. Tour, Member's car show, lunch awards and meeting.


May 5 and 6, Saturday and Sunday, CENTRAL COAST CLASSIC RALLY, Our members Jeff Ebbage, Will Winkler and Brian Bliven planned this weekend event for our club. It is a limited registration fun rally. A two day non-timed Cinco De Mayo rally that will include a catered Mexican dinner complete with tequila tasting. Cars will follow a self-paced route through scenic non-highway roads with a boxed lunch stop. The evening's destination is the historic Hacienda Lodge at the active military base, Fort Hunter Liggett. May 20, Sunday, All British Motor Vehicle Show & Swap Meet, Held at Dixon Fair Grounds on North First Street. 200-250 cars, to show your car a $30 pre-registration fee is due by May 3rd. This popular meet is about a three-hour drive from Santa Cruz and has the best swap meet in California.To register go to www.ubscc.org/CarShow.htm


June 2, Saturday, SOUTH COUNTY BACKROADS TOUR - Our member Joe Cain plans this regular event each year for the SCBMC and TTSCC. It includes scenic driving routes in South County, stop for lunch, surprise stops at tourists attractions and in general, a full day of activity. June 23, Saturday RIVER ROAD MOONSHINE RUN, Meets at Watsonville Chevron 9 am, then goes to Genny’s home off of Route 68 for coffee and pastries. The tour will visit Fog’s End Distillery in Gonzalas. From there it continues to Funky Roy’s Sausage Factory and then to South County for a lunch stop at a winery. Tour leaders Irene Medzyk and Jenny Brown.


July 22, 2018 Sunday, PACIFIC COAST CRUISE This tour is organized by our SCBMC Annual Meeting Coordinator, Jesse Bregman. It starts in Santa Cruz and takes interesting and scenic routes into Bonny Doon and up the coast to Swanton. The return Pacific Costal drive will bring us to a nice restaurant in Santa Cruz for a group lunch.

August 21, Tuesday RULE BRITANNIA CONCOURS This is the first year for this British car show at Laguna Seca Golf Course, Monterey. It will be a high-end lawn event with food, drinks and gifts to participants. $250 Registration fee to show your car (2 people) (need pre-acceptance) includes lunch and drinks, or $75 for spectators, includes parking, wine tasting. August 21, Tuesday, Carmel -By-The-Sea Concours on the Avenue. This is a free show (for spectators) during the Monterey Historics week. Unfortunately, they have instituted a high entrant fee for anyone to show a car. Contact: Info at www.motorclubevents.com


August 22, Wednesday, The Little Car Show. Held in downtown Pacific Grove on Lighthouse Ave. from 11 noon to 5 pm. This is the seventh year for this specialty show. Only cars of 1601 cc or less are allowed. Many attending cars are British, so MG’s, Sprites, Midgets and other little cars be sure to register and attend. Entrance fee $25. August 23 - 26, Thursday through Sunday, Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion The Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion is the largest event held during the famed Monterey Classic Car Week. Approximately 550 race cars are invited to compete in the world’s premier motoring event. Lots of crowds and great historic car displays. The club does not go as a group due to large crowds, waiting lines and high prices. However, you are urged to attend to see the world’s best collection of cars.


September 2, 2018, Sunday, TOUR TO ROARING CAMP RAILROAD in Felton. This is the club’s “Signature Event” which invites all area British Clubs. Leaving Watsonville Chevron at 9:30 am. Back roads drive to Roaring Camp in Felton. Includes 1 hour steam train ride plus picnic lunch or you can take a walk in the Redwood Forest Trail. Cars will be displayed on the park grounds. Sept 30, 2018, Sunday, REDWOOD ROLL. This is a scenic drive into Santa Cruz Mountain roads by organizers and SCBMC members, Emile DellAquila and John Christensen. They have selected a new fun route and different restaurant for lunch this year. Time and meeting place will be announced closer to the event.


October 13 & 14, Saturday & Sunday, 7th Annual BRITISH FALL CLASSIC. In downtown Morgan Hill. This is our one remaining large British Car Show originally started by the SCBMC in 1993. Please support it or we will have no local show. The show features British sedans, saloons, sports cars, etc. Now organized by On The Road Again Restoration shop, Bill Hiland 408-314-2675. Canepa’s Cars and Coffee, Scotts Valley Start at 8am and go till noon 3 times this season. Dave Soares, our docent of choice for Canepa, will be giving one of the epic facility tours at 10:00am at each show. Coffee and donuts will be served from 8am till 10am. Below we have a list of all of our shows that you can come to: April 14th, June 9th, October 13th, 2018. Parking is first come first served. The main lot is reserved for Classic, Custom, Performance, and LeMons cars only. Spots usually fill up before 7:30 am so consider yourself warned!


41st Avenue Cars and Coffee, every Saturday 7 am till around 9 am. Parking lot between Parking lot between Safeway and Starbucks. Always a wide assortment of vehicles and some very nice British Motor Cars.
